The fishing has been really good recently, but we are scheduled for the wind to pick up this week and hopefully it will drop off towards the end of the week.
We have focused most of our attention offshore the marlin bite continues to stay very good and we are landing multiple fish a day. Dorado are scattered and there aren’t many around, but the fish dorado we are finding are big! The tuna are here now as well and most are foot balls, however there are tuna being caught up to 150lbs!
The sardines continue to stay up north but it’s definitely worth the boat ride. Earlier this week we had an amazing day on jacks and roosterfish on the inside just offshore using sardina to get them worked up. Right now there are thousands of jacks just offshore getting ready to spawn and it’s really an amazing site to see with so many jacks in one area. The beach still continues to stay average. Over the season the roosterfish have had a ton of pressure but we are finding some fish and if you are patient to can take a few shots at them…
Enrico Puglisi is coming this week to fish with us for few days and it’s going to a great experience.
