Over the last few weeks we have enjoyed some for the best surf fishing the East Cape has. We have lots of small to medium Dorado around as well as tuna and skip jack. The bill fishing continues to be good with mostly sail fish but the occasional stripe marlin in the pattern. We are raising between three and ten sails a day which is good but we expect over the coming weeks for this to get better
Along the beach there are some very nice roosters but you have to be willing to put in the time. We also have a lot of small jacks and lady fish prowling the beaches as well. If you are lucky there have been a few medium dorado patrolling the beaches as well.
