Hi everyone.

The fishing here in the East Cape Baja has been action packed. The weather is heating up and we are seeing some nice fish. Also, the sardines are still a long ride out, but if you have them the fishing can be really good.

Sailfish: One of my captains reported that there is a very strong bite of sailfish down South. We will be exploring it more this week and report back.

Dorado: there is a good amount of Sargasso weeds floating around and holding some nice dorado. Once we find one or two fish we can generally stay on them providing some great angling.

Beaches: currently the beaches have some nice sized jacks and roosterfish.. However, the fish are spooky making it difficult to get them to eat, so you have to be patient and pick your shots. Although spooky, we have caught some big fish…

Jack final beach

My client on mothers day caught a 40 pound roosterfish and a 40 pound jack off the beach. She has only been fly fishing for two years and handled it like a pro! If you would like any information on any of our trips, please give us a call, and we will be happy to assist you.

Tight lines,

Jeff
