The beaches are still fishing well for Jacks and Roosterfish. The average Roosterfish is 7-15 pounds with some grande fish in the mix. The sardina are still a ways out and we have not spent much time going after them as we lose precious fishing time, so instead of fishing inshore we have focused strictly on the beaches and done well.

With all the action on the beaches it can get crowded as we mentioned in our last report, However, is you are patient and pick your shots, the effort will pay off. Marlin and Dorado are scattered and we did see some wind pick up the other day but nothing that would prevent us from fishing.Last season we had one of our best Roosterfish seasons and this season is shaping up to be another stellar season. If you would like any rates, or have questions about the trips, please give us a call and we will be happy to assist you.

The Reel Baja is looking into several hosted trips so stay tuned and we will be releasing a newsletter shortly with some updates on the trips.

Tight lines,

Jeff
